Bugging Out and Heading for the Hills? Find Adventure at Redfish Lake

Have you thought about heading for the mountains to get out of the cities and take your family back to nature? There are so many beautiful and fun areas for the family or you and your friends to go camping. One of my favorite areas is Red Fish Lake beneath the Sawtooth Range in Idaho. A beautiful clear mountain lake great for fishing, paddle boarding, and kayaking. There is a horse rental stable there for horseback riding.

Redfish Lake is about a twenty-minute drive from Sun Valley filled with great restaurants that are fun and affordable and plenty of shops to look in. Grumpy's for hamburgers and Mama Inez for hands down the best Mexican food! Both Ketchum and Hailey have world class skateboard parks and the Board Bin is great for skateboard shoes, clothes and board needs. It's not uncommon to see pro skaters at these parks during the summer. There are also, white water rafting guide trips for level II and III class rapids. If you aren't much of a camper type there is a beautiful log lodge to stay at.

You and your family and friends could easily spend a week here and enjoy every minute of it!  What ever you decide to do, make it an adventure and build memories!
